Opening at 9 pm, Komagome’s Snack Nene is a karaoke bar where you can relax over a drink, sing and chat without feeling self-conscious. There’s an all-you-can-drink plan with no time limit, and the selection includes whisky, otoshi (a small dish served at Japanese bars), Kyogetsu, sweet-potato and barley shochu, and mixers such as green tea and oolong tea. For those who prefer to take their time over a bottle, bottle-keeping is available with otoshi and mixers included; you can also add soda water for a highball at an extra charge.

The range of bottles on offer includes whiskies such as Yamazaki and Ballantine’s 17 Year Old, Hennessy brandy, Sato Mugi shochu, and Japanese sake such as Bishu Ranman and Sha. For a toast, there are beers including Asahi Super Dry and Corona, Suntory Ao by the glass, a range of cocktails, and champagne such as Moët & Chandon.

Karaoke is available for anyone in the mood to pick up the microphone: it’s free with bottle-keeping, while the all-you-can-drink plan has a per-seat charge. You can bring your own food, making it easy to share favourite snacks with friends. The bar has Wi-Fi and accepts credit cards and PayPay, making it a convenient option for a group’s second stop or a casual night-time detour.
